TheOatmeal is written, drawn, and coded by Matthew Inman, a king of all trades when it comes to the Web. Matthew lives in Seattle, Washington. He subsists on a steady diet of crickets and whiskey. He enjoys long walks on the beach, gravity, and breathing heavily through his mouth. His dislikes include scurvy, typhoons, and tapeworm medication.
The art style leans on the young side, though nearly all characters in explicit situations are adult aged (the only exception being the seme in "Indirect Youth").
In all, I'd say this title is pretty good. Even if you've never bothered with this sort of stuff before, his ideas and findings are easy to follow and his laid-back, humorous style makes this fun to read. I had three elders with dementia. Corrosion bad enough to seize a valve does not suddenly present, but rather slowly gets worse over time (unless process conditions suddenly changed, which the scenario fails to consider).
The chapter on loop tuning recommends the Ziegler-Nichols "ultimate" method which requires over-tuning of the controller to the point where the process oscillates at a steady amplitude. These distinctions are not merely academic. Did come from India however which I didn't expect.. Now, with a newly glued cover, the book is making its way through my family: it's fun listening to my daug
