I read a lot of memoirs (it's my favorite genre) and what I think this book is missing most is that the author didn't give us enough information about HIM. He explains HOW the oils are best used, showing the reader how scent can trigger certain parts of the brain and direct application can benefit the user.
My favorite part of the book is his section on recipes and blends. Thanks Elisa for publishing the book!. Flashbacks and related thoughts about the dead, would have been just as effective but more realistic than ghosts which first appear in the beginning of Chapter 1, so no spoilers with this comment.
The main murder mystery is concluded in this book but there is a major storyline left open as a lead in to the next book. This form of circular reasoning is intended to show the importance of an instrument's calibration expressed in accuracy." (page 21)
