V.C. Remus holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northern Illinois University. He is an economist, chess instructor, runner, RPG enthusiast, musician, songwriter, and an avid reader of all genres. He hails from Chicago, Illinois and owns three bunnies. To escape studying for his Series 7 and 63 examinations, he writes fantasy novels. His “Steamworks in the Bylea” was imagined on a late night in June of 2013 and completed on an early February morning in 2015. Stay tuned for the sequel in 2016.
Written by an arachnologist who has made his life's work understanding where this spider is found (and, more importantly, where it does not occur) and researching the many claims of bites, particularly outside of its range. After a challenging year in which I have dealt with injury, financial devastation, and diabolical bureaucracy, it was great to be reminded, once again, that the reason I have thrived is largely because I exhibit 100% of the personality traits of a 'survivor'! The exercises included in this book are brilliant and I have recommended the book to many people, including my rehabilitation physician - who has thoroughly enjoyed my approach to everything but is still trying to figure me out! Should be required reading for all high school students and for anyone who is serious about tapping into real human potential. I'd start a hack thinking that I knew everything that the authors were going to cover and end up frustrated that I was on the tube and couldn't immediately try
