My dad couldn't even see the extra large face of his, but he somehow knew if the battery quit. The embodiment of Victorian decadence: an elitist snob lacking in temperance regarding ladies, gambling or anger. Luck and a strategic approach to life seem at odds, but the concept of improving my statistical chances for good fortune intrigued me. That's the way I've experienced reading this story.. They kind of seemed like filler.
The ending isn't necessarily a cliffhanger, but Kate and Murph's situation is only partly resolved. I lost 33lbs in two and a half months with this book! I've tried other low carb books that seem to be for the gourmet chefs of the world. Every time she stated a Bishop was unable to help her, I was likeduh!
I was also disappointed with the way she demonized / blamed her family for her issues. An OK book, but somewhat outdated after nine years. I am glad that even though she was afriad she still asked help from strangers. He is an only child. T
