Buck describes the Chinese characters in this book as being accepting of others while being a bit hedonistic themselves. He chooses to go back and attack those who disagreed with him (John Lott and Andrew Breitbart, for example) but conveniently ignores interviews in which he didn't necessarily come out on top (Ben Shapiro and Jonah Goldberg, to name two), which left me considering the author thin-skinned.
This book fell far short of being the promised no-holds barred account of Mr. Warning, if you don't already have a solid foundation in finger style playing, you will struggle on some of the pieces. to Michael Cuccione, he was a brave kid until the end, he's a great singer, actor, and he is defintly a role model to all people.
